San Diego’s First
Non-Alcoholic Bar
Good News Bar opened its doors in Summer 2025 on Park Blvd and is proudly San Diego's first non-alcoholic bar.
Our name is inspired by Mac Miller’s song "Good News," honoring his legacy after his tragic passing from an overdose. It serves to raise awareness of addiction and mental health, while also carrying a message of hope. We want people to feel seen and supported and to be reminded that even in dark times, good news is possible.
We provide a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space for our community to unwind with a clear mind in a positive and alcohol-free environment.
We offer morning and evening services. Our morning menu includes coffees, teas, functional cocktails and freshly baked pastries. Our evening menu includes functional and free-spirited cocktails, apéritifs, dealcoholized wines, non-alcoholic beers and cider. Both are intentionally designed to be as inclusive as possible and we rotate menus seasonally.
Nestled inside you will also find a thoughtfully curated bottle shop stocked with our favorite spirit replacements, non-alcoholic beer, dealcoholized wines, bitters, chilled elixirs, as well as locally made, gender-free clothing from Ality Designs.
